Port Sulphur is a small town located in the state of Louisiana with a population of 1,800 residents and one neighborhood, Port Sulphur is the 172nd largest community in Louisiana. Port Sulphur has seen a significant amount of new home growth in recent years. Often, new home construction is a positive barometer of economic growth with new residents moving in who earn middle class incomes, attracted by jobs, a healthy local economy, or other amenities as they leave nearby or far away areas for greener pastures.
